Transfer Rumors

The January transfer window is nearly here. One last Transfer Rumors before it starts and before the New Year.

The talk of Edin Dzeko leaving Wolfsburg continues to heat up. Manchester City seem to have the most interest, with other teams showing interest being Juventus, Chelsea, and Liverpool

Ronaldinho seems closer and closer to a move home. The Brazilian playmaker has fallen out of favor at Milan and Dinho has flown back home to Brazil. It appears that Gremio is where he is going and the club’s vice president says that January 15 is the day that everything will be resolved.

Chelsea have struggled in the Premier League this season and a move at any level of the pitch could happen. It appears that Chelsea are vigorously after Benfica center back David Luiz. Sources say Benfica have already turned down a deal for 19.7 million pounds.

It looks like Arsenal will allow Carlos Vela to leave. The young Mexican forward has seen minimal time on the pitch and a loan deal or permanent move to Spain are possible. Vela could end up at Valencia, Villarreal, and Atletico Madrid.

Jose Mourinho has insisted that he needs another striker. The newest name to be linked with a move to Real Madrid is Nelson Valdez. In case you don’t recognize Valdez’s name, he plays for Herculez and score both goals in their victory over Barcelona early in the La Liga campaign.

West Ham are currently in the relegation area, but have played better as of late. Avram Grant wants to bolster his side during this window. Names mentioned in a move to Upton Park are: Michael Owen, Robbie Keane, and Ryan Babel.

David Beckham. Yes, David Beckham could make a move back to the Premier League. The 35-year-old winger is being linked with offers from Sunderland, Newcastle, Blackburn, West Hame, Everton, and Tottenham. If Becks were to go to Spurs, he would be able to play in the Champions League. C’mon Becks, have a go at it.

The rumors surrounding Kaka continue to swirl. Here’s the happenings: Inter and Chelsea are the two interested teams. Jose Mourinho has stated many times that he is looking forward to Kaka being like a “new signing” when he returns from injury sometime in January. The player’s agent says that Chelsea is the more likely destination spot than Inter should Kaka even leave the Bernabeu.

In an audacious attempt to bolster his side or get at Barcelona, just guess who Jose Mourinho wants to buy. Reports suggest that Mourinho is telling Madrid brass to do everything they can to sign . . . Cesc Fabregas. A bid of 40.5 million pounds could be sent, but likely will be rejected by Arsenal and not just them but Fabregas himself. Cesc prefers Barca to Madrid, obviously and a move back to Spain is always surrounding the playmaker. I’ll consider Cesc moving to Madrid as more than highly unlikely.

Time for rapid fire:

Manchester City are also interested in Newcastle’s Andy Carroll

Djibril Cisse is a target for Liverpool

Robbie Keane to Newcastle

Daniel Agger to Wolfsburg

Manuel Neuer to Bayern Munich

Alberto Gilardino to Juventus
