More transfer talk . . . and I know it’s your favorite.

Craig Bellamy is in an awkward situation with Manchester City. Bellamy has threatened to quit football if City do not play him or sell him. Bellamy has said that he hasn’t talked to manager Roberto Mancini since February. Bellamy is on the radar of Celtic, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Fulham. It also doesn’t help that Bellamy wasn’t even selected to travel with the club for their Europa League game this week.

Young Italian sensation Giuseppi Rossi is also in another awkward situation. Rossi is being tracked by Manchester United. Rossi is also being tracked by Inter. What makes the Rossi situation awkward is that he supported AC Milan his whole childhood. The young Italian has said that he is happy at Villareal, but would find it hard to deny Inter.

Tottenham have asked Aston Villa about winger Ashley Young. 

Roma are interested in Tottenham winger Giovanni Dos Santos.  

Liverpool are in talks with Juventus about midfielder Christian Poulsen.

With the goalkeeper situation at Arsenal unsettled, Arsene Wenger is set to make a raid for Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina.

Mario Balotelli has told reporters that he knows where his future lies. Balotelli has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City but talks over his wages and a transfer fee are not going smoothly.

Wolfsburg want to bring Diego back to the Bundesliga as the Brazilian playmaker has struggled with Juventus after having a terrific season for Werder Bremen a few seasons ago. As of this writing reports say that a deal has been agreed upon, but the clubs have not said anything, so I will wait until they confirm it for me to confirm it.

William Gallas is on the radar of Harry Redknapp and Tottenham.

Mesut Ozil could be the replacement for Barcelona‘s failed pursuit of Cesc Fabregas. Ozil has said that it would be a dream for him to play for the Catalan giants. Reports from Barcelona say that the deal is set but awaiting the approval of manager Pep Guardiola. Guardiola could be relectant to ‘Ok’ the deal because he is a keen admirer of Fabregas and knows that Barcelona could sign him in January or next summer. Reports say that he may think if Ozil comes to Barca it could be a waste of funds. Ozil’s national team coach Joachim Low said that he has tipped Ozil to reject interest from Chelsea and Manchester United in favor of joining Barca.

I almost thought it was certain that Javier Mascherano would join Inter Milan from Liverpool. Those talks have been stalled and a deal that seemed imminent now seems very unlikely. Now, reports in England and Spain say that Barcelona have regained interest in the Argentine captain and appear to be the favorites to land his services, ahead of his current club Liverpool.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said that he would love to play in England one day. The Big Swede has been linked with Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea this summer. Not to mention the AC Milan interest is still there.

Reports from England say that Chelsea denied a massive approach from Manchester City to acquire Didier Drogba.

With Ricardo Carvalho being sold to Real Madrid, Chelsea are in the market for a new center back. Brazilian David Luiz has been linked to fill the void left by Carvalho.
